Okay, kiddo. So, there are people who live in different countries far away from us, and sometimes they want to come visit or even live here in our country. But the government has to decide who can come and who can't, to keep everybody safe.
Now, the leader of our country, which is called the President, can give orders called "executive orders." And one of these orders, called Executive Order 13780, is about who can come to our country from certain other countries.
The order says that people from certain countries like Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, and North Korea, can't come to our country unless they have a really good reason to, like visiting a sick family member, and even then they have to go through lots of checks to make sure they are not a danger to people here.
Some people think this order is not fair because it might keep families apart, but others think it's important to keep everybody safe. It's a complicated issue, but that's basically what Executive Order 13780 is all about.
