ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Executive director

An executive director is a very important person in a company or organization. They are like the captain of a ship, who makes important decisions and guides everyone else in the right direction.

The job of an executive director is to take care of everything that the company or organization does. They work with other important people (like managers and board members) to make plans, set goals, and make sure everyone is doing their job.

Just like how a captain of a ship needs to make sure the ship is going in the right direction and avoid any obstacles or dangers, an executive director needs to do the same thing for their company or organization. They also have to make sure that everyone is working together and that everything is running smoothly.

So, basically, an executive director is the person in charge and responsible for making sure everything is working well and running smoothly for their company or organization.
