Expanding nozzle

Okay kiddo, do you know what a nozzle is? It's like the spout on a watering can or the end of a hose. It helps things come out in a certain direction.

Now, imagine a nozzle that can change its shape. That's called an expanding nozzle! If you want to understand that better, think of a balloon. If you blow air into it, it gets bigger and the hole where the air comes out gets smaller. But what if the hole got bigger instead? That's what an expanding nozzle does!

An expanding nozzle starts off small, but as the gas or liquid comes out, it gets wider. This helps to control the pressure and flow of what's coming out. Think of it like when you play with Play-Doh. If you make a small hole in the Play-Doh, not much will come out. But if you make a bigger hole, more comes out faster.

Expanding nozzles are used in all kinds of things, from rocket engines to garden hoses. They help to make sure the gas or liquid comes out in the right direction, and they can even make it go faster or slower. Isn't that cool?
