External sphincter muscle of male urethra

Okay kiddo, let me tell you about something called the external sphincter muscle of the male urethra.

First, do you know what the urethra is? It's a tube that helps pee come out of our bodies. Boys have a longer urethra than girls because it goes all the way from where the pee is stored in the bladder, down through the penis, and out.

Now, the external sphincter muscle is like a little gatekeeper that helps control when we pee. It's a muscle that we can squeeze to hold in our pee if we need to go but aren't near a bathroom yet. Just like how you might squeeze your hand to hold onto a toy that you don't want to drop.

This muscle is controlled by our brain, and when we want to pee, our brain tells the muscle to relax and open up. But when we don't want to pee, the brain tells the muscle to tighten and keep the pee from coming out.

Sometimes our brains get confused and we might accidentally pee a little bit, but that's okay! We just need to make sure we listen to our bodies and go to the bathroom when we need to.

So, that's what the external sphincter muscle of the male urethra is. It's a little muscle that helps us control when we pee, and it's really important for keeping us dry and comfortable!
