ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Ezekiel 46

Ezekiel was a man who wrote a book in the Bible long, long ago. In the book, he talks about a big building called a temple, where people go to worship.

In Ezekiel 46, he talks about a special day called the Sabbath that happens once a week. It's a day of rest and everyone is supposed to stop working and focus on worshiping God.

On this special day, the people were supposed to come to the temple to worship and bring special things like animals to offer as sacrifices to God. There were different gates to the temple for important people and regular people.

The prince, who was like a king, had his own private gate and he was allowed to worship God and give his own special offerings. This was because he was an important leader who had to focus on leading the people during the week, but on the Sabbath, he had a chance to connect with God.

Overall, in Ezekiel 46, we learn about the importance of rest, worship, and how people of different positions can connect with God in their own way.
