Fašiangy

Fasiangy is a special time of year where people have a lot of fun before the start of Lent. It's like a big party right before we have to be serious and thoughtful for a while. During Fasiangy, people dress up in funny costumes and go to parties and parades. This is called "masquerading." We might see people dressed up as clowns, animals, or even their favorite characters from movies or books!

One of the most important parts of Fasiangy is eating yummy treats. One popular treat is called "krapfen" or "pączki." They are a type of donut that is filled with yummy things like jam or chocolate. We also like to eat other delicious foods like sausages, cheese, and bread.

At the end of Fasiangy, we have a big celebration called "Shrove Tuesday" or "Mardi Gras." This is the last day before Lent begins, so it's our last chance to have fun! During this celebration, we might have big parades and lots of dancing.

Overall, Fasiangy is a time of year where we can let loose and have lots of fun before we have to start being more serious for Lent.
