ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

False advertising

False advertising is when a company, or someone else, talks about a product or service in a misleading way that makes it sound better than it really is. For example, if a company advertises a toy as being able to do some cool trick with special powers and it turns out that when you buy it, the toy can't do any of those things they said it could, then that would be false advertising and it's not fair.
