Family dispute resolution

Family dispute resolution is a way to solve arguments and disagreements that happen between people in a family, like parents, siblings, grandparents, and other relatives. It is like going to a special helper person who can listen to everyone’s side of the argument and then help them find a solution that everyone can agree on.

This special helper person is called a family dispute resolution practitioner, and they are trained to help families talk to each other calmly and respectfully. They will ask questions to understand each person's point of view and feelings, and help everyone work together to find a way to solve the problem.

Family dispute resolution can happen in different ways - it can be done face-to-face with everyone talking in the same room, or it can be done over the phone or on video calls. Sometimes, the family dispute resolution practitioner might even meet with each person separately and try to find common ground between them.

The goal of family dispute resolution is for everyone to come up with a solution that they can all agree on, without anyone getting hurt or feeling like they lost. It is a way for families to work through their problems and improve their relationships with each other.
