Family tree

A family tree is like a big picture of your family. It is like a big branch tree with leaves, only instead of leaves there are names of family members. All family members are connected to each other. Your name is at the center of the family tree, and your parents are connected to your name. Then their parents are connected to them, and so on. It helps us see how everyone is related to each other and who belongs in the family.
