Fan (aficionado)

A fan is someone who really likes something - think of it like a favorite toy or candy. When people really like something, they become an aficionado or expert on it, which means they know a lot about it and can talk about it for a long time. For example, someone who really likes superheroes might know all their names and powers, and be able to tell you the whole story of how they became superheroes. They might collect toys and comics with their favorite superheroes on them, and dress up like them for Halloween or special events.
