Fare evasion

Fare evasion means not paying the proper amount of money to use public transportation, like a bus or train. It's like going to a store and taking something without paying for it. When someone rides the bus or train without paying, they are taking something that they are not supposed to take without paying. This is not fair to the people who do pay the proper amount to use public transportation. Just like it's not fair to take a toy from a toy store without paying for it. The people who ride for free are breaking the rules and can get in trouble.
