Fatimid

The Fatimids were a group of people who ruled in a place called North Africa from 909 to 1171. They were a family that believed they came from a man named Fatima who was a great leader and teacher back in the day. They were very important in history because they did a lot of things like building cool buildings, encouraging people to learn and doing trade with other countries. They also believed in a religion called Shia Islam which was different from the other religions that many people believed in at the time. The Fatimids were very smart and powerful, and they left behind a legacy that is still remembered and studied today.
