Feature creep is when new features are added to a product and those extra features begin to make the product hard to use, time-consuming, and expensive to make. Imagine if you wanted to buy a bike. The bike you wanted to buy had all the features you wanted, like brakes and a bell. But then the bike shop added more and more features like a nice paint job, a better seat, more gears, and more bells and whistles. Soon, the bike is too expensive and too complicated to use. That's feature creep!
