Feminist urbanism

Feminist urbanism is all about making cities the best place for everyone. It's about understanding how cities affect the people who live in them, especially those who are traditionally marginalized like women, racial or ethnic minorities, or people with disabilities. This means making sure that Cities are designed in a way that all people can access what they need safely and with dignity. It also means recognizing the needs, voices and contributions of everyone who live and work in cities. This could be things like taking into account gender when designing something like a bus stop or creating more space for women entrepreneurs to open businesses. Feminism is all about equality, so feminist urbanism is about using urban design and planning to create a more equal and safe city.
