Urban theory

Urban Theory is a way of trying to understand how cities are shaped and how they work. It is based on the idea that cities are not just made up of buildings, streets and highways but rather, they are also made up of people, ideas, and the relationships between them. Urban Theory looks at the social, economic, and political factors that shape cities and the lives of people who live in them. It tries to answer questions like how a city grows and changes, why certain areas develop and others don't and how people's lives are affected by living in cities.
