ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Urban economics

Urban economics is a kind of economics that looks at the things that make cities work. Cities are places where a lot of people live, work, and play. To make them work well, cities need things like housing, transportation, places to shop, and schools.Urban economists study how these things interact with each other and how to make cities the best places possible for people to live, work, and play. They might look at things like how the cost of renting or buying a home affects people moving to or away from a city, or how a new highway or subway system might affect traffic.
