Georgism

Georgism is an economic theory named after a man named Henry George. He believed that one way to help people would be to have a tax on the land someone owns. That way, people who have more money can't just buy a lot of land and keep it from other people. The government takes money from everyone who owns land, and then uses it to help pay for things like schools and roads. It also helps people who have less money because they won't have to pay as much in taxes.
