ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Classical liberalism

Classical liberalism is a political belief that every person should have certain freedoms like the freedom to choose what kind of job they want, what beliefs they have, and how they want to spend their money. It is about giving people the right to make decisions for themselves and not being told what to do by a king or the government. Classical liberals believe in a limited government that respects people's rights to make their own decisions. They also believe that taxes should not be too high or too low, that the government should not interfere in personal or business decisions, and that the government should promote economic growth.
