ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Constitutionalism

Constitutionalism is about how all people in a country should be treated fairly and that the laws of the country should be respected. It is really like a rulebook that everyone follows. It tells people what they are allowed and not allowed to do. Everyone, including the government, has to obey the rules in the constitution. That way, people can have their own rights and freedoms and the government is kept in check so it can't take power away from the people.
