Fiscal conservatism

Fiscal conservatism is when someone believes it is important to save money and be very careful with spending money. It means that someone focuses more on saving money than on spending money. Fiscal conservatives also believe that governments should be careful with how they spend money, too. They think that governments should only spend money on things that are very important, such as protecting people and helping people who need help. When governments save money, it allows them to be able to help more people when those people really need it.
