Minarchism

Minarchism is a type of government philosophy. It is a mix between the words "minimum" and "anarchy" and means that people should only have a very small government. This would mean that the government would only be responsible for providing a few essential services like police, fire, and military protection to keep everyone safe. People would be able to choose and decide which services they want the government to provide and which risks they are willing to accept. Minarchists generally believe that most laws and regulations should be made by people in the community, and that the government should not be involved in the everyday lives of citizens.
