Ferry terminal

Okay kiddo, you know how when we go on a trip, we sometimes use a big boat on the water instead of a car? This big boat is called a ferry, and it helps us cross water bodies like rivers, lakes, or even oceans.

Now, when we get to the place where the ferry is waiting for us, we call that place a ferry terminal. It's like a special parking spot for the big boats.

At the ferry terminal, we usually see a big building where we can buy tickets to ride the ferry. It's like buying a ticket to go watch a movie at the cinema. We also see a place where we can wait for the ferry to arrive. This place is usually big and has a lot of chairs for people to sit on.

When the ferry arrives, we get on it and then the ferry leaves the terminal and starts moving towards the other side of the water. Once we reach the other side, we get off the ferry and we are in a new place!

So, the ferry terminal is the place where the ferry stops and people get on and off the boat. It's an important place because without it, we wouldn't be able to travel across water so easily.
