Filter design

Filter design is like a puzzle. It's a way to control how sound waves (or any type of waves) move. A filter is made of special parts that bend, block, or both, the waves as they pass through it. To make a filter, you have to find the right pieces and figure out how to put them together so the sound or other type of wave passes through in the way you want.
