Fimbulwinter

Fimbulwinter is an event in Norse mythology. It is a very long and cold winter that lasts for three years. It is the sign that the end of the world, known as Ragnarok, is coming. Ragnarok is a battle between the gods in Norse mythology, which will cause all the gods to die and the world to begin again fresh. So to the Norse people, Fimbulwinter was seen as a sign that the end of the world was near.
