Finagle's law

Finagle's Law is a humorous way to remind us that everything takes longer than expected. It's usually stated like this: "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong, but at the worst possible moment." This means that when you're trying to do something difficult or important, be prepared, because it might not go as smoothly as you planned. It's called "Finagle's Law" because it is named after the character Finagle in a science fiction book. He always found himself facing worse-than-expected obstacles while trying to achieve something.
