Fire-control radar

A fire-control radar is a special kind of radar that helps people shoot at things in the sky.

Imagine you are playing a game of tag with your friends, but the person you're trying to tag is really high up in the air. You can't see them very well because they're so far away! That's where the fire-control radar comes in.

The fire-control radar helps people see things in the sky that are too high up to see with their naked eyes. It sends out special waves of energy that bounce off of the object they're trying to shoot at. When the waves bounce back, they tell people how far away the object is, how fast it's moving, and what direction it's going. This helps them aim their guns or missiles and shoot at the object accurately.

It's kind of like a "Where's Waldo?" book, but instead of trying to find Waldo, people are trying to shoot down enemy planes or missiles. The fire-control radar helps them find the "Waldo" in the sky and take it down so they can stay safe.
