Fiscus

Okay, so imagine you have some money that you keep in a jar. That money is like the fiscus. But instead of one person keeping the money in the jar, it's a big group of people who decide how to use the money. This group of people is the government. They use the money in the fiscus to help take care of things in the country, like building roads, paying for schools, and helping people who need it.
