Fitts Law

Fitts law is a fancy way of saying that it is easier to click on something that is big and close, than something that is small and far away.

Think of it like playing darts. If you throw the dart at a big target that is close to you, you have a good chance of hitting it. But if you try to throw the dart at a tiny target that is far away, you might miss.

This is the same idea with Fitts law. When you are using a computer or a phone, it is easier to click on something that is big and close. That's why buttons on websites or apps are usually big and colorful, so you can easily see and click on them.

But if the button is small and far away, it might be harder to click on. Fitts law helps designers make things easier for you to use.
