Flag manifold

A flag manifold is a special type of space that looks like a bunch of different types of spaces all layered on top of each other like a cake. Each layer is like a different flavor of the cake, but they all fit together really nicely.

Imagine building a tower out of blocks, but each block is a different size and shape. When you stack them up, they make a shape that is really interesting and unique. That's kind of what a flag manifold is like.
