Flash evaporation is a process where a liquid is quickly turned into a vapor, or a gas. Think of it like boiling water in a pot on the stove. The liquid water starts to heat up, and the heat causes the molecules of water to move faster and spread out until it all turns into vapor, or steam. Flash evaporation is similar, just a lot quicker. A liquid, like water, is put into a tank and heated up very quickly. The sudden increase in heat makes the molecules move faster, and all of the liquid turns into vapor, or steam, very quickly.
