Flow table test

A flow table test is like a very structured and organized game of memory. Imagine you have a bunch of different toys and games that you want to put away in their proper places, like a puzzle piece that fits in a specific slot in a box.

Now, let's say you have a list of all the toys and their proper places in the boxes. This is called a flow table. Just like the list is organized and structured with specific information, a flow table test does the same thing, but for computer networks.

Computer networks are like a big toy box with many different toys, and they each have their own specific "homes," just like the puzzle pieces. Each toy and its home are given specific names and numbers, which are listed in the flow table.

During a flow table test, someone will read off a toy name and its "home" (a.k.a. port on the network switch), like "Toy A to Port 1." You need to remember that information and match it up with the correct "home" on the network switch.

Just like with the toy box and the puzzle pieces, if you put the wrong toy in the wrong home or slot, it won't work properly. In computer networks, this can cause delays or disruptions, just like a toy box that's not organized can make it hard to find what you're looking for.

So, a flow table test is like a game where you have to remember and match up specific names and numbers to make sure everything is in the right place and works properly.
