Flower power

Flower Power is a phrase that means using peaceful methods, like giving people flowers, to show support for something, or to stand up for a cause. It became popular in the 1960s when people who were against the Vietnam War would give red carnations and other flowers to soldiers to show their support for peace. Flower Power was a way for people to come together, express their feelings and show that peaceful methods could make a difference.
