Foehn wind

Foehn wind is a type of wind. It is a type of wind that comes off of mountains. It starts on one side of the mountain, and when it hits the other side it warms up and speeds up. It can be very strong and can cause high temperatures. Foehn wind can make it feel like summer on one side of a mountain while it is winter on the other side. It's like a mountain has its own weather!
