ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Food sovereignty

Food sovereignty is when people have the right to decide what kind of food is grown or raised in their communities, and who gets to eat it. People who have food sovereignty can decide how to grow their food, how to protect it from diseases, and how to store it. They can also decide who gets to eat the food and how much everyone gets to eat. This means that everyone in the community can have enough food to eat and nobody has to go hungry.
