Forbush decrease

Forbush Decreases are sudden decreases in the number of particles that launch from the Sun. The Sun shoots particles out all the time, but when a Forbush Decrease happens, suddenly fewer particles are sent out. This can change how much energy reaches us here on Earth and can affect our weather. It's like someone turning off a light switch!
