Forestry

Forestry is when people plant, manage and care for trees. Trees are very important for the environment, because they provide air to breathe and clean water for drinking. Trees also create habitats for animals and give us food, like apples, oranges and nuts. People who work in forestry help make sure that there are enough trees for everyone now and in the future. They do this by planting new trees, taking care of existing trees, and cutting down trees when needed.
