Forms of nonmonogamy

Nonmonogamy is when people have romantic or sexual relationships with multiple people at the same time instead of just one person like in a typical relationship. There are different types of nonmonogamy.

One kind is called Open Relationships. It means that two people who love each other have agreed to sleep with other people, but they still have a primary commitment to each other. It's like sharing a yummy cake with your friends, but your best friend still gets the biggest slice.

There is also Polyamory. It means having multiple romantic relationships with people who all know and consent to the situation. It's like having a big, loving and happy family, where everyone is in love with each other.

Swinging is another type of nonmonogamous relationship. It's where couples have fun with other couples, usually just for occasional sexual experiences, but do not have any romantic involvement. It's like having a fun time at a friend's party, but you only dance with a few different people and leave with your own partner.

Lastly, there is Relationship Anarchy, which is when people reject the idea of rules about who they can or cannot love or have sex with. It's like playing with all your toys instead of just one and seeing which ones you like playing with more.
