Fossil park

Okay kiddo, have you ever found any old objects of your grandparents at your house? Just like that, fossils are objects that were created millions of years ago by animals and plants that lived on Earth long before we were born. Fossil Park is a place where a lot of these fossils are dug up and studied in order to understand what kind of animals and plants lived on Earth long ago.

A long, long time ago, animals and plants died and got buried under the ground. Over time, their remains got mixed up with rocks and minerals, creating fossils. Fossil parks are special places where scientists go to dig up these fossils and study them.

So, when you go to a fossil park, you might see scientists digging in the dirt with special tools like brushes and shovels. They may also use special machines to help them find the fossils. Once they find the fossils, they carefully brush away the dirt to reveal what kinds of animals or plants the fossils belonged to.

It is like when you find hidden treasure at home, you need to be very careful and take your time with discovering it! Fossil parks help us understand what the world was like millions of years ago and how life on Earth evolved. Isn't that cool?
