Fraction

A fraction is like a part of something. It's a way to show that you have part of a whole. For example, if you have half of an apple, you can show it with the fraction 1/2. That means one part out of two. Another example is 3/4. That means three parts out of four. Fractions can be used to show part of a number or an amount of something.
