Françafrique

Françafrique is a way of thinking and a name for a certain type of relationship between France and some of its former African colonies. It's a special relationship that involves France having a lot of economic and political control over the African countries it used to own. France helps these countries by providing money, jobs, and support but also has different rules and laws that are designed to help France but not always the African countries.
