ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Francisca

Francisca is a type of throwing axe that was used by warriors a long time ago. It has a curved blade on one end and a pointy tip on the other. The blade is like a really big knife that you can use to cut things with. The pointy tip is sharp so it can stick into things when you throw it.

Back in the olden days, warriors carried franciscas with them as their weapon of choice. They would use it to attack their enemies from far away by throwing it at them. It was like playing darts or throwing a ball, but with a big axe.

Franciscas aren't used as much anymore because we have better and more advanced weapons now, but they are still really cool to look at and learn about.
