Freebie marketing

Hey there! Do you know what a freebie is? It's something that someone gives you for free as a gift or a reward. Freebie marketing is when a company gives something away for free to get people interested in a product or service they sell.

Let me give you an example. Let's say you and your mom are walking around the mall and you see a man giving out free samples of ice cream. You try the ice cream and love it! The man tells you that the ice cream is made by a company called Happy Scoops and they sell it at the store just down the way. Your mom decides to buy some ice cream because you liked it so much.

Did you see what happened there? The man giving out free ice cream was using freebie marketing to get people interested in Happy Scoops' ice cream. It worked on you!

Sometimes companies will also give away free things if you sign up for their website or newsletter. They hope that if you like the free thing they gave you, you'll become a regular customer and buy more of their products.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell. Freebie marketing is a way for companies to attract new customers by giving them something for free. Who doesn't love free stuff, right?
