Trojan horse (business)

A business trojan horse is when someone tries to fool a business into giving them something they don’t really want. Usually, someone promises the business some type of benefit, but instead they end up getting something that’s not helpful and could even be dangerous. For example, a business might think they're getting a great deal on some computer software, but once they install it, it starts flooding their network with malicious viruses.
