Freeway revolt

Freeway revolt is when people decide to stand up against a government decision they think is wrong. For example, governments sometimes want to build new roads or highways that would cut through neighborhoods. People in those neighborhoods might not want this, so they will protest and try to stop the government from building it. Their protests can be by marching, carrying signs, and making speeches.
