Fugitive

Okay kiddo, have you ever played hide and seek before? Well, a fugitive is kind of like someone who is hiding from the police. They may have done something they're not supposed to, like break a law or hurt someone, and now the police want to find them.

So just like when you're playing hide and seek and you don't want to be found, a fugitive doesn't want to be found by the police. They might run away to a different place and change their name so no one can recognize or find them.

Sometimes, the police will put up pictures or information about the fugitive so that other people can help find them too. And when the fugitive is finally caught, they will have to face the consequences of what they did wrong.

It's always important to follow the rules and laws, so we don't ever have to worry about becoming a fugitive.
