A fuzzy cognitive map (FCM) is a type of diagram that helps us understand how different ideas or things are related to each other. It is made up of circles (or "nodes") that are connected by lines (or "links"). Each circle represents a concept, and each link shows how one concept is related to another. For example, one node might represent the idea of eating healthy food and the link between that node and another might show that healthy eating is related to good health. FCMs help us visualize relationships between concepts so that we can better understand how they all interact in real life.
