ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Fuzzy set theory

Fuzzy set theory is a way of thinking about things that can be a bit hard to describe in words. It's like a special language that we can use to talk about things that can be a bit blurry and unclear. So, instead of saying something is either "right" or "wrong," fuzzy set theory lets us think about things that are a mix of both. For example, lets say it's a sunny day outside, but there are a few clouds in the sky. With fuzzy set theory, we can describe this as a "fuzzy day," which means it's partly sunny and partly cloudy.
