Geats

Geats are a group of people who lived a long time ago in a place called Scandinavia. Think of it like a big, cold country far away from here. The geats were known for being really good fighters and they had their own language and culture.

In stories and legends, one famous geat is a man named Beowulf. He was known for being very brave and he fought against scary monsters like giants and dragons. Even though he was very strong, he also thought about other people and wanted to protect his friends and family.

Today, people still talk about the geats and their culture. Some people even learn to speak their language, which is called Old Norse. Even though they lived a long time ago, the geats and their stories are still important and interesting to people today.
