Gender polarization

Gender polarization is when people think about and talk about gender in very different ways. They often come to different conclusions about what it means to be either a boy or a girl. For example, one group of people might think that boys should like playing sports and being brave, while another group might think that girls should like playing with dolls and wearing pretty dresses. This can make it harder for people of all genders to be accepted and understood in society.
