Generalized Anxiety Disorder is when your brain thinks that there are always bad things happening even though there might not be. It makes you feel very worried, scared and nervous about different things, like school, friends or even just everyday activities like eating, sleeping or playing. Your body might feel shaky, restless or you might have a knot in your stomach. It can be hard to control these feelings and it might make it hard for you to do normal things without feeling worried or scared all the time. Sometimes talking to a grown-up, like a doctor or therapist, can help you feel less anxious and learn ways to manage your worries.
